Our Programs

Kids Time Early Learning Centres provide innovative, stimulating, creative programs based on individual and group observations. Children are encouraged to talk about their interests and pursuits so teachers can plan programs that incorporate experiences and activities appropriate for each child’s level of development.   

All activities are planned weekly and displayed in each room. Here is a sample of some of the activities for different age groups:

6 - 15 months

Our Centres provide a nurturing environment that caters for each individual child’s routine. Our experienced staff offer a variety of safe, age appropriate activities designed to stimulate and encourage your child to explore and develop. Activities include:

• Music
• Literature
• Outdoor play area

15 months – 2 years

We aim to provide a whole learning environment where children are free to observe, question, experiment and explore. Children will be engaged in activities focussed on sensory experiences such as:

• Play dough
• Painting
• Sand/water play
• Indoor/outdoor activities
• A separate age-appropriate playground

2 - 3 years

This program builds and extends on the educational experiences of the previous rooms and aims to foster independent and social skills through:

• Puzzles
• Dramatic and imaginary play
• Group time – for story and language development
• Outdoor areas for safe climbing; a garden area for investigating the environment and a sandpit area where children can enjoy tactile sensations of wet and dry sand

3 - 5 years

Kids Time activities for 3 - 5 year olds are designed to prepare them for their transition to school and the wider community and help them become confident and independent.

Pre-school programs cover:

• Early numeracy and literary activities
• Computer skills
• Cooking
• Gardening
• Art and craft activities to develop fine and gross motor skills
• Books
• Puzzles
• Outdoor play such as sand and climbing
• Drama activities

Extra- Curricular Activities

All children have the opportunity to participate in our wonderful extra-curricular activities program twice a week. The program includes dance, music and familiarisation with computers. All programs are designed to develop:

• Language
• Memory
• Listening
• Concentration
• Cognitive, emotional, social and physical skills
